Homemade Sulfite Free Sausage Stuffing

- 12 cups Diced homemade white bread
- 3 cups Chopped chicken sausage
- 3 sticks Unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp Onion powder
- 2 tbsp Poultry seasoning
- 1 tbsp Garlic salt
- 2 tsp Sea salt
Preheat the oven to 375 and line a dish with parchment paper.
In a large pan on the stove, melt two sticks of butter and mix in the chopped chicken sausage.
Add the onion, poultry seasoning, and garlic salt into the melted butter and sausage and mix together. Cook for 5 minutes or until simmering.
In a large bowl, mix together the bread and butter & sausage mix. Then pour the stuffing into the dish and spread evenly.
Melt the remaining butter in a pan and mix in sea salt. Pour it evenly over the top of the stuffing dish and mix once more.
Bake the stuffing for 30-35 minutes or until the top layer of bread begins to brown and crisp.
