- 1 cup all purpose flour unbleached & organic
- 1/2 cup cane sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tbsp ground flax
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
Start by mixing the ground flax and water in a bowl to make a flax egg.
Preheat the oven to 350 and line an 8x8 dish with parchment paper.
In one small bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
In the bowl with the flax egg, mix in the cane sugar, maple syrup, and vanilla.
Using a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate and butter together. When fully melted, mix into the bowl with the wet ingredients.
Combine the dry mixture with the wet mixture and mix thoroughly, then pour into the dish and smoothen out the top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Then serve and enjoy!
