Servings: 25 Almond butter hearts
- 1 cup almond butter
- 2 cups oat flour
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- pinch sea salt
Chocolate Coating
- 1 cup chocolate
- 1/2 tsp coconut oil
Start by laying out a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet and laying out a rolling pin, a cookie cutter, one large bowl and one microwave safe bowl.
Mix all ingredients except for the chocolate and coconut oil in a bowl until well combined.
Then use the rolling pin to roll the dough flat onto the parchment paper. It should be about 1/4"-1/2" thick!
Take the cookie cutter (whatever shape you'd like) and cut out pieces of the dough until it has all been used. Then place the cookie sheet into the freezer.
While the dough is chilling, melt the chocolate and coconut oil together in the microwave. When completely melted, take the dough out of the freezer and dip each into the chocolate.
After the chocolate has hardened, drizzle extra chocolate on top if desired then let the chocolate dry completely.
Store in a air tight container for 1 week or place in the freezer for up to 2 months!
