The Best of Crumbly Brownies:
Brownies can be a standard dessert perfect for any time of the year. They’re one of the most popular chocolate treats and are commonly brought to every party, holiday or get-together. Despite seemingly standard, I believe the texture and ingredients of brownies can make a very big difference. While I often enjoy a gooey and moist brownie, these crumbly chocolate brownies have been a delicious addition to my favorite desserts!
These brownies are made from simple ingredients that you most likely already have in your home. Without using some common substitutes like cacao powder, bananas, or yogurt, these brownies are still sulfite free and vegan. They also happen to be easy to make and easy to store which makes for an even better dessert. With a melt-in-your-mouth chocolatey taste in every bite and the best soft, crumbly texture, these brownies are a dessert recipe you shouldn’t pass up!
Ingredients

Making these Crumbly Chocolate Brownies
The one ingredient that is key to making these crumbly chocolate brownies sulfite free and vegan is a flax egg. So to start these brownies, you want to mix the ground flax and water and put it to the side to sit for 7-8 minutes. While the flax egg sits, preheat the oven to 350 and line a 8×8 inch dish with parchment paper. Then mix the flour, sea salt, and baking soda in a small bowl.
When the flax egg has thickened, add in the cane sugar, maple syrup, vanilla and mix well. Then in a microwave safe bowl, melt together the butter and chocolate. Start by melting for 30 seconds at a time and stir in between until completely smooth. Then mix the chocolate into the wet ingredient bowl and combine thoroughly. Mix together the wet and dry ingredients and pour into your 8×8 inch dish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until you can stick a toothpick in the center of the brownies and have it come out clean. When the brownies are fully cooked, let them cool for 10 minutes on the stove top. Then serve slightly warm or fully cooled and enjoy!
