This dinner is great for weekdays after work or for Sunday meal prep since it can be put together in under 30 minutes. These cutlets are also gluten free and sulfite free, making them a good lunch and dinner option for anyone. If you need a versatile dish that can be made new, fun, and exciting every time, I recommend giving these cutlets a try ASAP!
Ingredients
- Organic chicken breast: If you’re someone sensitive to sulfites, one thing I always suggest is to buy chicken without the white pad at the bottom. These pads often contain vinegar or other sulfited ingredients!
- All natural almond flour: I use Bob’s Red Mill super-fine natural almond flour. Even though almond flour can be difficult to find organic and unblanched, try to look for natural options when at the grocery stores.
- Organic almond milk: My favorite almond milk is Three Trees Organic almond milk! They don’t use any gums or other additives to their milks which is best for the sulfite sensitive. Regular milk or oat milk are also two alternative options for making the cutlets.
- Seasonings: The two main seasonings I always use in this recipe are Italian seasoning and garlic powder. I also add sea salt and sometimes onion powder or all purpose seasoning. It is highly customizable and you can use any seasonings that you enjoy on your chicken.
- Ghee butter: Ghee is a great alternative to cooking in oil. It adds the best flavor and has less ingredients than other butters. For this recipe, you can use any butter or oil you prefer, but I do strongly recommend ghee.
